เริ่มปี 2560 ก่อตั้งโดยสถาบันปลูกป่า ปตท. หรือ PTT Green in the City เพื่อส่งเสริมพื้นที่สีเขียวในเขตเมืองและเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการปลูกป่าเชิงนิเวศแบบยั่งยืน โดยการนำพื้นที่รกร้างกว่า 12 ไร่ บนถนนสุขาภิบาล 2 เขตประเวศ พลิกฟื้นขึ้นโดยจัดสรรสัดส่วนที่ดิน 75% เป็นพื้นที่ปลูกป่านิเวศที่สมบูรณ์ รวมถึงจำลองป่ากรุงเทพฯ ในอดีตที่มีความหลากหลายของพันธุ์ไม้ดั้งเดิมและพันธุ์ไม้หายากกว่า 250 ชนิด พื้นที่แหล่งน้ำ 10% และพื้นที่อาคารเพื่อการเรียนรู้ 15% เพื่อจะเป็นศูนย์การเรียนรู้เพื่อให้ชาวกรุงได้ตระหนักและร่วมกันอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติให้ยั่งยืนตลอดไป ซึ่งในอนาคตป่านี้จะเติบโตและสร้างความอุดมสมบูรณ์ให้กับพื้นที่เป็นรูปแบบการศึกษาและเรียนรู้ป่าในเมือง เชื่อมโยงและสร้างความใกล้ชิดระหว่างคนกับป่า

Wildlife Friend Foundation Thailand

มูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า หรือ Wildlife Friend Foundation Thailand (WFFT) ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อเดือนพฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2544 โดยนาย เอ็ดวิน เจ วิค ซึ่งเป็นชาวฮอลแลนด์ และได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากท่านเจ้าอาวาสวัดพระพุทธบาทเขาลูกช้างให้ใช้ที่ดินของวัดในการก่อตั้งมูลนิธิฯ แห่งนี้ โดยวัตถุประสงค์หลักของมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่าคือ การอนุรักษ์สัตว์ป่าและปกป้องทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม ปัจจุบันมีโครงการมากมายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการช่วยเหลือ รักษาพยาบาล และการฟื้นฟูสภาพสัตว์ป่า งานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสัตว์ป่าและสัตว์เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมในทะเล ตลอดจนการปล่อยสัตว์ป่าคืนสู่ธรรมชาติ ล่าสุดได้ผลักดันสวนสัตว์ภูเก็ต ในการลดการทารุนของสัตว์ป่า
